What Does a Job in Construction Look Like?

Jobs in the construction field can include a wide range of responsibilities and skills, from manual labor to project management or supervision. Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent may be needed
  • Bachelor’s degree is needed for construction management
  • Project Managers require a bachelor’s degree and/or certification in their chosen specialization
  • Certification, experience, and/or an apprenticeship in a specialized field will be required
  • OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification is required
  • Union membership is required in specific trades
