Testing Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC)The TASC® test is a five-subject high school equivalency exam that measures levels of academic achievement relative to that of high school graduates and assesses career and college readiness. The exam can be taken at a testing center on a computer or as a paper test. The five subject areas are Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. States who offer the TASC exam include CA, CO, IL, IN, MS, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OK, PA, TX, WV, WY.

General Educational Development (GED)The GED® test is a four-subject high school equivalency test that measures skills required by high schools and requested by colleges and employers. The four subjects are Science, Social Studies, Mathematical Reasoning, and Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA). The GED exam is available in a computer-based format. All states offer the GED exam excluding IN, IA, LA, ME, MA, MO, MT, NH, NY, TN, WV. |
High School Equivalency Test (HiSET)The HiSET® exam is a five-subject high school equivalency test conducted online that enables you to demonstrate your college and career readiness by measuring your academic skills and knowledge relative to that of a high school graduate. The HiSET exam is available in computer- and paper-based formats and can be taken in English or Spanish. The five content areas are Language Arts – Reading, Language Arts – Writing, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. States who offer the HiSET exam include CA, IA, LA, ME, MA, MO, MT, NV, NH, NJ, TN, WY. |
