ServSafe

What Can a ServSafe® Certificate Do for You?

The food and beverage industry offers many possibilities for employment and growth potential, and many of these jobs begin with a ServSafe® certificate. The U.S. National Restaurant Association provides training and testing for ServSafe. The training is designed to teach students about cleanliness in the foodservice environment. Studies include instruction for storing and handling food, food safety regulations, allergens, food labeling, and others.

The ServSafe food safety exams are accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under Conference for Food Protection (CFP) standards, and are nationally accepted. ServSafe training and certification is recognized by more federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification.
